What is the purpose of the grant?
Do you want to turn your innovative idea into a successful project?
This type of project involves the development of a completely new or significantly innovative (improved) product, process, service or concept. The result should have a significant impact on your company’s performance. That impact is more likely to be in the short term.
All companies with legal personality, non-profit organisations and public organisations with legal personality and with operational activities in the Flemish Region (or at least a clear impetus to do so) and which carry out economic activities.
Having a climate plan is mandatory for large and/or energy-intensive aid applicants. This climate plan describes how the business establishment concerned will make the transition towards low-carbon operations in a climate-neutral Europe by 2050.

The basic support rate for a development project is 25%. The total support percentage is capped at a maximum of 60%.
The support percentage may vary depending on whether it is a regular project, a project submitted by a VLAIO-recognised interregional or international network, and if the project activities are submitted at a later stage of development.
All necessary knowledge acquisition activities – both technological and non-technological – that contribute to the development of your innovation and the validation of the results are eligible for the grant.
Activities following a development phase may also be eligible.
