Ecologiepremie+ (ecology premium+)

This premium offers financial support to companies that want to make ecology investments in the Flemish Region. The Flemish government wants to encourage companies to make their production process environmentally friendly and energy efficient. The ecology premium focuses specifically on technologies that fall under the themes of cooling, transport, lighting, heat and water.

• Do you want to invest in technologies that are unique to your company and therefore do not appear on the limitative technology list? Then the Flemish government’ s strategic ecology support is for you.
• Do you have plans to switch from fossil fuels to green energy or make your business processes electric to reduce CO2 emissions? Then the GREEN investment support is a Flemish support measure specifically for you.

What is the purpose of the grant? 

The aim of the ecology premium+ grant is to encourage companies to organise their production processes in an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient way. By offering financial support to companies investing in sustainable technologies, the Flemish government wants to contribute to more ecological and sustainable business operations.

Who can submit an application? 

The ecology premium is only granted to companies investing in the Flemish Region.

How much funding is there? 

The total amount of subsidies granted to a company is maximum €1,000,000 over a period of 3 years from the submission date of the first positively decided aid application.

The ecology premium is awarded in the form of a grant. The amount of the ecology premium is determined by:

• the nature of the investment;
• the ecoclass to which a technology belongs on the basis of its ecology number with corresponding subsidy percentage;
• the size of the company;

What costs are eligible? 

The following are eligible:

• Investments included in the latest valid limitative list of technologies;
• Investments started from the first day of the month following the month in which the support application was submitted and within 6 months of the support award decision and fully realised within 3 years of the support award decision.
