Do you need financial support for an industrial research or experimental development project? The Win4Company grant is specially designed to help your company finance such projects. These projects aim to acquire new knowledge in the field of scientific and technological progress, or to use existing knowledge to develop a product, process or service. In addition, submitting a research project can also strengthen the scientific and technological potential of your company.

What is the purpose of the grant? 

The purpose of the Win4Company grant is to support companies in financing industrial research or experimental development projects. These projects aim at acquiring new knowledge in the field of scientific and technological progress, or using existing knowledge to develop a product, process or service. In addition, the research project submitted may also contribute to strengthening the company’s scientific and technological potential.

Who can submit an application? 

This measure is open to any type of company, regardless of size or field of activity.

The project can be carried out by your company alone or in partnership with other companies.

How much funding is there? 

The support received can take the form of a grant or a repayable advance.

The rate depends on the type of research, the size of your company and the nature of the partnership.

What costs are eligible? 

For research that qualifies as industrial research, support is provided in the form of a grant:

• 50% in the case of a large company
• 60% in the case of a medium-sized enterprise
• 70% in the case of a small enterprise

For research qualifying as experimental development, aid is granted in the form of a repayable advance:

• 35% in the case of a large enterprise
• 45% in the case of a medium-sized enterprise
• 55% in the case of a small enterprise

Under certain conditions, these percentages may be increased in case of effective cooperation between, on the one hand, a Walloon SME and at least one other Walloon enterprise and, on the other hand, a Walloon enterprise and an enterprise located outside Wallonia. The increase is 10% for funding in the form of grants and 15% for funding in the form of recoverable advances.
